Posada Mariana Bed and Breakfast

Pros: The hosts were very nice and prepared a very nice breakfast. The garden with the fish pond is lovely.

Perfect stay!

Pros: We had an amazing stay at Posada Mariana BB. I can truly say that was our the best ever stay. The people make the place perfect, every morning preparing delicious home-made breakfast. They make sure you have everything required at all the time. Rob and MaryAnn are perfect hosts, they also recommend what to see and what to do. We had amazing time and definitely will come back one day! Beds very comfy, rooms quiet, beautiful and quiet garden. Everyone should feel that experience staying at Posada Mariana Bed&Breakfast

Hidden gem, did not expect it to make such an impression with lovely couple running it.

Pros: We stayed in over 10 hotels during our stay and this was our favourite. It was very quirky and the couple running it Rob and Anne Marie (hope that's right) were so welcoming. It was in an isolated area with lovely views, a small pool with lots of wildlife. So peaceful and different to anywhere we have ever stayed before. I think we will always talk about this place as it was so unique.

Cons: Nothing, it was excellent all round.

Pros: Staying at Posada Mariana Bed and Breakfast was an absolutely wonderful experience. Rob and his family are truly exceptional people — kind, thoughtful, and incredibly welcoming. After booking, they sent us helpful and detailed information that made planning our trip to Yosemite so much easier. When we arrived, they greeted us warmly and were ready to help with anything we needed. The house feels like a small museum — full of charm, character, and beautiful details. Our room was spotless, cozy, and very comfortable. There’s also a pool and jacuzzi on the property, which made our stay even more relaxing. Thanks to Rob and his amazing family, this trip became one of the most memorable ones. Their hospitality and beautiful home made all the difference. I highly recommend Posada Mariana Bed and Breakfast to anyone visiting the area!

Pros: We had a fantastic stay. Rob and Mary Ann are great hosts. The rooms, the terrace and pool and the view over the valley is stunning. The breakfast was lovely and it was awesome to get to know them and receive tips of places to visit in Yosemite.

Perfect B&B to visit Yosemite

Pros: Everything was perfect. Rob and Mary Ann were very welcoming hosts, giving us advice about our visit in Yosemite (the park is located approximately an 1 hour drive away). Their house, located out of town, is beautiful. The room was big enough and very clean. Also, the breakfast was delicious, suited for European eating habits.

Like at home!

Pros: Family-run B&B. We were welcomed by Pilar, the daughter of the two owners Rob and Mary Ann. Very welcoming and the house is amazing! I did not take advantage of the outdoor pool and the jacuzzi, but it was lovely, the room was spacious and comfy! I wish I had the same experience in San Francisco, where the hotel canceled the reservation the day before with no support. This family instead has been welcoming and warming from the beginning. Breakfast is also amazing. Definitely be back if ever in the area again :)

Paradise on earth

Pros: This B&B is an absolute paradise on earth. The two elderly host are so kind and welcoming, it was great. After a nice day in Yosemite, we got back to inspiring talks while sitting in the pool in the evening. The hosts take their time to prepare a delicious breakfast for all guests in their own kitchen. We got so many insights into how to best visit the NP as well as the country and life.

Cons: The only downside is the 1h+ drive into the Yosemite NP. But the house is thus situated in a very calm area.

Pros: It was a very wonderful stay and really nice hosts. The breakfast included everything, french toast, bacon, eggs, cerials, fruits and so on. The pool and jacuzzi is really nice. Also the place itself is wonderful with a beautiful garden, we saw deer in the backyard, some squirrels, humming birds, a little lizard. The distance to Yosemite is also really ok, about 1.5 hours.

The hosts make your stay something special!

Pros: Rob and Mary-Ann are excellent hosts. We had some very good conversations over a sensational breakfast. The rooms are very clean, comfortable and quiet. On hot days you can take a swim in the pool and enjoy the beautiful view. Overall, a definite recommendation for a stay!
