A fully equipped home with everything needed in a cabin-like setting in South Lake Tahoe.

Pros: I wanted to take a moment to share our fantastic experience at Black Bear Hideaway in South Lake Tahoe. From the moment we arrived, we were thoroughly impressed by the accommodations. The house was beautifully maintained and fully equipped with everything we needed, including a fully functioning kitchen, bathroom supplies, and all the comforts of home within a charming, cabin-like setting. We enjoyed BBQing on the front deck, relaxing evenings in the spa, and cozy nights watching TV. The location was perfect—just a block away from the lakefront, with grocery stores conveniently located only a few blocks away. For those looking for entertainment, the casinos were just a five-minute drive in the opposite direction. I highly recommend Black Bear Hideaway to anyone seeking a well-appointed home while visiting South Lake Tahoe. I would rate our stay a 10 out of 10 for the location, overall experience, and the host’s attention to ensuring a wonderful stay.

Cons: The linens could have been better quality, including the polyester bed spread. That is the only thing I would change at this property.
