Inn At Truckee

Pros: We liked the breakfast, free parking, friendly staff.

Cons: The room wasn't serviced for the three nights we stayed, even though we put the please service sign out.

Very good value for money and perfect location for the Lake Tahoe ski resorts of Northstar and Palisades

Pros: Clean and comfortable rooms, friendly staff, 24 hr coffee machine

Pros: The hotel is within walking distance of a few shops and restaurants which is very handy. The air-conditioning worked well, and there are several rooms on the ground floor level, great for those with mobility issues. We found it very quiet from the room in which we stayed. It was easy to get into town. I believe there are Ubers available, but we used the TART Connection during our stay. You need to download the TART app, and then it's used very similarly to Uber. This is a free service. We tipped what we figured an Uber ride would be. Every driver we had was friendly and informative. .

Cons: Breakfast was very basic. No cereal available. I'd like to see more seating in the breakfast area. We took our coffee back to our room because we couldn't get a seat. The rooms are tired and need some updating.

The right place. Without the inn, we would have froze.

Pros: 24 hour herbal tea...location, breakfast, bath, comfy.

Cons: The sauna was down, but I didn't have time anyway...

Clean and comfortable

Pros: Clean rooms, good location close to several restaurants.

Cons: The free breakfast was passable, but not great.

Truckee's Hidden Gem

Pros: The way the staff treated me. My flight was delayed and they provided a way for me to get my keys after the lobby was closed. The price is great! The location was perfect for my accesibility to the three resorts I was working at.

Cons: I wasn't able to take advantage of the continental breakfast.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were warm and inviting, even when we showed up early. Breakfast was delicious.

Pros: It was a safe area. The staff were super kind, rooms were clean and quiet at night.

Cons: I was skeptical at first. It looked dark when you walk in. But the staff are sooooo inviting and friendly. You feel like you’re at home. Also, no elevators

Excellent stay!

Pros: Very Clean, large room, on site laundry, very nice staff, homey feel! I enjoyed this stay very much.

Pros: I liked that coffee was available all the time, as I left early in the mornings. Room was nice! I couldn't get the microwave to work, but used the one up front. I especially appreciate Karla, who went out of her way Saturday evening to help me with a problem. She is awesome!

Cons: No complaints, but there was some dust/dirt on the bathroom floor when I arrived.

Pros: It had many options, good choices.It had more than we anticipated.

Cons: The carpets need to be cleaned/ replaced.
