enjoyed the quiet environment

Pros: The Hotel room was clean and bathroom was good, breakfast was served on time, just one person working but did her best to keep food and supplies filled.

Cons: Convivence

I will never use booking.com

Pros: I loved the staff but im upset with booking.com i waited over an hour for my reservation to go thru after booking

Excellent value in a place that's getting better!

Pros: We were fortunate to be assigned to one of the recently refurbished rooms. It was great value for the money. Not that one would characterized his place as luxurious, but it is more than good enough for a brief stay. Staff is very friendly and online plus in-person check in experience is excellent.

Cons: Housekeeping had missed a few minor details... Empty tissue box, coffee pods were all decaf. Yikes!

For the price, it was the best mid range hotel I have stayed in!!

Pros: Recently remodeled room large room (suite) with clean laminate floors, new furniture including sofa bed, and bed, mattress. Bathroom was modern and clean.Large refrigerator was added to kitchen. New, padded carpet in hallway. Sandra at the front desk was professional, proficient and personable. The price was discounted on Booking.com

Cons: A little noisy during the day as remodeling was continuing above our remodeled room. It is to be expected and it stopped after working hours. So really, just to let guests know about it would be fine.

Everything I was looking for...

Pros: Check in and out was easy and felt everything was secure while I was in and out.

Cons: Not much.

Overall satisfying!

Pros: The staff was great! From the ladies serving breakfast to the housekeeping folks, I always was treated to smiles and a can do attitude!

Cons: Parking was tight since many spaces were unavailable due to some site work and numerous conex type storage boxes.

My Hawthorn stay

Pros: The room was nice and quiet. And the location was good. Satisfied

Pros: They are remodeling the rooms, and they are very nice. The bed was actually comfortable.

Cons: Not the biggest fan of the parking area, it's very small. And so is the elevator but still doable.

It was good enough for us

Pros: Omar was a great greeter. He set the tone for staff involvement. The breakfast was great. The location was the best part because we were there to ride bikes on American River trail.

Cons: It’s dated of course but was clean and bed was adequate. They are renovating and that is good.

Very clean, quiet environment with the wonderful convenience of a sink and good size refrigerator!

Pros: I didn’t have any of the breakfast but the location is nice and convenient, just off the freeway.

Cons: The room had a very strong bleach smell that lingered for hours. I very much appreciate a clean room and it told me the room had been nicely cleaned but the odor was just too much. The shower had almost a stale bleach odor of some kind as well.
