Good place, worth the cost!

Pros: Clean room, clean bedding, good location, really good room for the price! I would recommend it.

Cons: Check in with no staff was easy but confusing at first. Room was really cold - but we got the heater going and had to keep it on as if switched off, it gets cold quickly.

lovely place in tahoe

Pros: The hotel’s location couldn’t be better—right in the heart of everything, making it easy to explore on foot and close to great restaurants and transport. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, with a cozy bed and thoughtful touches that made the stay relaxing. Quiet at night, with good amenities and reliable Wi-Fi, it offered a perfect mix of convenience and comfort.

Cons: At the time of my stay, there was some ongoing site maintenance. However, it was managed well and didn’t cause too much of an inconvenience. The disruptions were minimal, and it didn’t take away from the comfort or overall enjoyment of my stay

Pros: I really liked the location between all the trees and atmosphere of the place. The room was nicely decorated so it made a nice feel. Everything was clean. The manager reached out first day checking if there is anything to be refilled.

Absolutely loved this place

Pros: Everything was perfect for me. I loved the location as it was possible to walk to the beach and around the city. The room was big and the bed super comfortable. Coffee and milk disponible for the morning at wake up. I wanna thank the manager for his good service and the friendly staff for making this place nice and spotless clean. I’m really happy about my choice to stay at Alder In and would come back anytime.

Location and cleanliness 10/10!

Pros: Good value for money. Excellent location — close to shops and cafés, yet not on the main road but among pine trees, so it was quiet to sleep. This is not a 5-star hotel, so don’t expect new furniture, but what mattered was that it was truly clean. Bed linens and towels were spotless and felt like new. The bathroom and toilet were also clean. No bedbugs or insects were noticed. Just 5 minutes from Whole Foods, McDonald’s, Chipotle, restaurants, and cafés, and the beach is only about a 10-minute walk away.

Cons: I would recommend cleaning the air conditioner filters, as they are quite dusty. However, I didn’t use it, so this is basically my only comment.

Fantastic room, super comfy bed, great locaton and really affordable!

Pros: We had a fantastic couple nights at Alder Inn. Super affordable, VERY comfortable room and bed, great facilities in the room, and AMAZING location round the corner from Whole Foods! The staff were super helpful in advance when I needed to change the booking length, and were in contact every day via messaging to see if we needed anything. Couldn't fault the place at all, and we hope to stay there again in the future - thanks!

Cons: Absolutely nothing that we didn't like!
