A happy very comfortable base to explore beautiful lake El Dorado - and Lake Tahoe

Pros: The location is perfect and easy to access the charming town of Truckee and the surrounding countryside. The rooms are very comfortable, the bathrooms excellent and all is very clean. There is a sauna and a gym for the use of guests. The breakfast is delicious and the staff are very polite, cheerful and friendly. There is a large 'business room' with a big table for working at or even holding a meeting! Our small dog loved her stay and was made welcome.

Pros: Great location with good parking. Kitchenette with all required equipment. Breakfast bar and table. Full size fridge. Clean on arrival and daily housekeeping.

Cons: Dripping shower. Creaky bed.

Convenient location just off the main road. Close to shops & many restaurant options.

Pros: Location to shops & restaurants. Easy off street parking and check in. Helpful staff. Everything we needed for our short stay.

Good choice for Lake Tahoe

Cons: Room a little dated and spa bath has marks but all in all clean.

Its ok for a short or longer stay in South Lake Tahoe.

Pros: We stayed two night at this hotel and it was ok. It was convenient and we liked it. Everything is easy to reach but it not in the busy touristic center.

Cons: The shower head wasn't tight and we needed to fix it - and we weren't the first ones doing this though. Our room was in the first floor even if we preferred a room on ground level. But these rooms seem to be used for stays with pets. The walls were very thin and we had a family with kids running around a lot in the room one level higher causing a lot of noise - but this is not the fault of the hotel.

Surpisingly good Tahoe ski property

Pros: Great property, checks all the right boxes. Located close to South Lake Tahoe with dedicated parking, easy to reach from room.

Cons: Bathroom is a little tight for taller/bigger folk.

Great stay no complaints
