Marriott's Timber Lodge

Pros: Great location for gondola. Very comfy beds. Helpful staff. Super pool and spa tubs for apres ski.

Would be back in a heartbeat.

Pros: Perfectly located. Incredibly friendly staff who couldn’t do enough for us. Some great recommendations for hikes and places to visit including the AllTrails app which was fantastic.

Cons: We weren’t made aware housekeeping was every other day.

Great Property for Couples & Families

Pros: Lovely property, most staff where exceptional other than one of the house keeping staff who told us the last day when I asked for toilet paper he told me I had to get it from reception WHY! I also asked for a late checkout which was arranged, though house keeping knocked at 10am I said we have a 12pm checkout, then another knock at 11am by someone else, she says checkout? I said we have a late checkout, she said they were not told...communication isn't the best between staff!

Cons: How far our room was from reception.

Pros: Adjacent to lots of bars/restaurants that do both breakfast and dinner. The room had a good size, and was comfortable and clean.

Cons: Maybe it was because I parked late at night but I didn't see the option for self parking. Had to use the quite expensive valet parking, and then had to wait 30 minutes when I requested my car.

Fantastic place to take a break. Can't wait to go back.

Pros: Large room in friendly hotel just a short walk from the local shopping complex, and within 10 mins stroll of the casinos and the lake iteself.

Cons: It wasn't the easiest hotel to find despite being on the main road, so maybe better signposting would be good :)

Pros: Everything was beautiful. The room was very nicely decorated and laid out.

Pros: An amazing stay, definitely need to return during the summer!

Great stay in the Marriot Timber Lodge

Pros: Very spacious apartment with good kitchen and bathroom facilities. Large outdoor swimming pool and hot tubs.

Cons: 35$ charge per day for valet parking!

Needs some work!

Pros: Great location, next to gondola. Easy to get around town. One day the gondola was down and bus transfer to mt is right next door. Pool was very warm and several hot tubs were great .

Cons: People dont take carts they use to transport luggage etc to room back to the loading area so they run out despite a sign on them which says to return immediately! Second, we are the highest level Marriott has and we got a room right above where every client arrives and departs. The view was terrible. Also the gutter right outside our room was broken and all kinds of debris was on the room. Very unsightly. I mentioned to them 3 times but nothing was done. I cant believe with our status we were given such a poor viewing room. Lastly, our key kept failing. I had to go to the desk at least 4 times to get new keys over the course of a week.

Comfortable

Pros: Our room was very nice. I enjoy staying here during ski season since the Heavenly Gondola is just outside the Lobby

Cons: I'm not a big fan of the Valet only parking, but the attendants were respectful and worked as quickly as they could
