Old school ski vibes #ftw

Pros: Super old school ski mountain vibes. Loved the fire, kitchen was super well set up. Balcony added bonus. Parking underneath saved me from hours of digging out.

Cons: Nothing. Only thing I’d comment is if anyone is coming here looking for super modern, this is not your place.

Perfect

Pros: Our stay yesterday was fantastic - I love Kirkwood and it’s a jem of a location. Also the front desk and Staff are amazing. One issue we had was the heat last night just stopped working sometime around 9pm. It’s off season and there was not much that could be done, but it made for a chilly night and morning. Otherwise I can’t wait to go back!

Cons: Just the issue with the heat… if you are looking for a facility manager type, I’d be interested ;)

Better than the Reviews

Pros: We expected most of the facilities and furnitures are out of the date, based on the bad reviews on the website. However, we were surprised when walking into the room: much better than we could imagine. We booked for just one night since there is no other hotel available during the memorial day weekend. We would book 2 nights if we can know the room so nice and spacious. Don't know how they get rated below 5 in booking.com.... Will stay here again.

Cons: The room temperature was kept at ~80F when checking in, which was a bit crazy for the season. I think 70F should be a much comfortable weather for a good sleep.

Great 2 night stay. Would stay again!

Pros: Location was amazing. Very convenient for skiing. The condo was well stocked, comfortable, and perfect for our family of 5.

Cons: The condo we stayed in was actually quite loud. We could hear the groomers at night and a lot of outside noise. I would bring earplugs next time! The staff at check in didn't seem to be well versed with knowledge when we needed assistance. Quality food/restaurant options are limited.
